Being an electrical engineering student juggling classes, assignments, and part-time jobs, finding time to eat healthy has been hard. Like many of my peers, I often skipped meals or relied on unhealthy snacks to get me through the day.

No matter how much I loved fitness and wellness, college life always left me exhausted at the end of the day. It’s all too easy to prioritize convenience over nutrition when faced with deadlines and late nights.
I mean academics always come first, right?
Wrong. That saying always hits me in the face. I realized that neglecting proper nutrition takes a toll on my physical health, mental clarity, and overall well-being. That’s why I’ve made it a priority to prioritize healthy eating, even when I’m busy.
But as always, staying consistent with healthy eating habits is easier said than done. With limited time and resources, planning and preparing nutritious meals can be challenging.
But these days I refuse to let my busy schedule dictate my dietary choices and meals. I’ve learned to get creative with meal planning, incorporating simple, nutrient-rich ingredients into quick and easy recipes. And while it’s not always easy, I’ve found that small, sustainable changes can make a big difference in how I look and feel.
So to my fellow students know that you’re not alone in this journey towards healthier eating habits. If you’re unsure where to start with improving your diet and nutrition, I have a few posts that will introduce you to healthy snack and breakfast recipes to get you started. You can also download my free meal plan.
And here’s a little bonus tip from yours truly: Stay hydrated! It’s easy to forget to drink water when you’re knee-deep in assignments, but keeping yourself hydrated can do wonders for your energy levels.
